An attractive Victorian mahogany writing desk, or side console table. The piece features a simple rectangular top with a raised gallery back and single drawer to the front, fitted with turned wooden knobs with decorative inlay. Standing on elegant turned legs terminating in ball feet, it has a warm colour and patina throughout.

In good antique condition, with some marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Notable areas include the back rail, the top surface, and around the left drawer knob (as pictured). Structurally sound and ready for use.
