A traditional late 20th century ash cricket table made in the classic country vernacular style. The table features a circular solid ash top raised on three splayed legs united by a triangular under-tier, a design originating from rural Wales and the West Country where the three-legged form provided stability on uneven flagstone floors.
Nicely made with good proportions and attractive natural oak grain throughout. A useful and decorative occasional table, ideal as a lamp table, side table or sofa table, fitting equally well in both traditional and modern interiors.
Condition Report:
Good vintage condition with light age-related wear. Historic repair to the top where a joint has been reglued (as shown in photographs). Some very light staining to the feet and faint surface marks consistent with use. Structurally solid and ready for use.
