A solid and well-proportioned set of four early 20th-century Welsh farmhouse chairs in oak. The chairs have a rich, warm colour and gently burnished patina, developed through years of use. With their simple ladder-back design, flat seats, and subtly curved back uprights, they’re a good example of vernacular craftsmanship — practical, honest, and built to last.
Condition:
Structurally very sound with wear and surface marks consistent with age, including scratches and minor scuffs. One chair has an old split to the back upright, now stable, and another shows a small loss to one foot. All chairs remain sturdy and usable.
