A handsome 20th century mahogany writing table / side hall table, of neat proportions and finished with attractive satinwood-style crossbanding to the drawer front and top edge. The single drawer is lined in green baize and fitted with brass drop handles, making it a practical as well as decorative piece.
A versatile table that would work equally well as a writing desk, lamp table, or elegant hall piece. Its slim proportions make it particularly useful where space is limited, while the rich mahogany colour gives it plenty of warmth and character.
Condition Report
Presented in very good overall condition. There is a very minor loss to the crossbanded detail on the front right edge of the drawer. There are also faint surface scratches and light signs of age-related wear, as expected with use, but nothing that detracts from the appearance or functionality of the piece. Overall, a smart and well-kept table.
