An early 20th-century oak dresser base of simple, well-proportioned form. Made in solid oak with a warm colour and attractive grain pattern. The three drawers are fitted with brass swan-neck handles and a single diamond-shaped escutcheon to the centre. The top retains the original slots for supporting a rack at each end. A pot board runs beneath, framed by square legs.
Simple and classic in profile — would work well as a console or hall table.
Condition:
Structurally solid and sound. Wear and imperfections consistent with age, including a split to the front right leg and signs of historic alterations to the base. General surface marks and scratches, but these do not detract from the overall appeal. Further information or product video available on request.
