The well-figured two-plank top sits above three drawers — one long over two short — each fitted with period-style brass backplates and drop handles. The shaped apron is centred by a pierced fan motif, a decorative touch characteristic of the period. Raised on square-section legs, the piece balances the restrained elegance of Georgian design with the honest simplicity of rural craftsmanship.
