An elegant Georgian mahogany side table, with a distinctive serpentine top and ring-turned tapering legs. The table features two functional drawers to the front, with a matching pair of dummy drawers to the reverse, allowing it to be used freestanding — ideal as a lamp or occasional table.
Decorative narrow band of veneer along the apron has been sensitively restored, and the original brass rosette handles remain, although one from the reverse is missing and another has some damage (see photographs).
Condition Report
Good structural condition. One drawer knob is missing and one is damaged. Restored crossbanded veneer to the lower edge of the apron. Surface wear, marks, and patina consistent with age. Some fading to the feet, but overall a beautiful piece.
