A handsome Georgian tilt-top tripod table, crafted from beautifully figured Cuban mahogany. The solid, single-piece top has excellent colour and grain, supported by a well-turned baluster column and elegant legs on slipper feet. The original handmade wooden catch and bearers remain in place beneath — a lovely detail of early Georgian craftsmanship.A fine and authentic piece — both practical and decorative. A sensible size for use as a breakfast or occasional table.

Condition:
Refinished at a later date, now with a rich, warm patina. One small area of finish has lifted slightly (pictured). Marks and scratches consistent with age and use, but overall in good antique condition.
