A well-proportioned early 20th-century oak dresser in a simple, honest form. Constructed in solid oak with a rich, warm colour and pleasing grain pattern throughout. The upper rack has a shaped frieze and two fixed shelves, while the base features three drawers with brass swan-neck handles and a single diamond-shaped escutcheon to the centre drawer. Standing on square legs with a pot board below.
Condition:
Structurally solid and sound. Wear and imperfections consistent with age and use, including a split to the rack and to the front right leg. Evidence of historic alterations and repairs to the base.
